ビール大麦の側面裂皮粒,凸腹粒の気象的発生要因

 近年北部九州のビール大麦栽培で問題となっている被害粒の側面裂皮粒と凸腹粒について,統計解析により気象的発生要因を明らかにした。@側面裂皮粒の発生には,主として節間伸長期から出穂期にかけて(特に出穂期前20日間)の日照不足が関与していた。また,節間伸長期及び登熟後期から成熟期の各時期の多雨と節間伸長期から出穂期の低温も発生に関与しているものと考えられた。A凸腹粒は,5月中下旬の登熟後期から成熟期に降水量が多く,そのうち登熟後期(成熟期13〜7日前)と成熟期直前(成熟期3日前〜成熟期)の2時期ともに降雨が多い場合に,発生が多くなった。

  The occurrence of the two types of damaged grains (husk underdevelopment and grain with ventral swelling) which caused low inspection grade have been problem on the cultivation of malting barley in the north Kyusyu district of Japan in recent years. Therefore, we investigated the meteorological factors of the occurrence of these damaged grains by statistical methods. (1) A main factor of occurrence of husk underdevelopment was the shortage of sunshine hours for internode elongation stage to heading date, particularly for twenty days before heading date. Sub-factors were also involved in precipation at internode elongation stage, precipation for late grain filling stage to date of maturing, and low temperature for internode elongation stage to heading date. (2) A main factor of occurrence of grain with ventral swelling was the large amount of precipation for late grain filling stage to date of maturing, particularly for the thirteenth to seventh day before date of maturing and three days before date of maturing.
